I love my fellow countrymen, that sterotype of the stuffy humorless Englishman is all wet –
although I can understand why our “sense of humor” doesn’t “translate” at times to the Americans- I have found that to be a source of some consternation over the years. One of the reasons I have to go back to “Blighty” every so often to “relax the political correctness” that is fast becoming mind numbing.
This story in ,of all papers the “The Daily Mirror” Yes! I admit to scanning that “tabloid tell all” when I need a laugh and I need it more lately since my favourite “Editor of the MJ” has gone – he did give me a “laugh out loud moment ” every so often in his ” editorials to live by”- this story made me want to fly the flag and a “well played lads”
You see there is a young man who has reinvented flower power in London and beyond . He and his “guerillas” strike at night , risking jail, persecution and poison ivy.
