Ngaire isn’t sitting on the “bleachers” today
Four Australian crews were due to compete in semi–final action, with another four crews competing in minor finals, but all will now have to return tomorrow (Friday, August 15).

The storm that had swept across Beijing from about lunchtime made it out to Shunyi just before 3pm and with lightning present, the decision to postpone racing was made easy for the officials.

The women’s and men’s lightweight double scull, men’s quad scull and men’s lightweight four all still have the chance to join the six crews that have already qualified for their final on the weekend.
