We are pleased to present an interview with Gavin – Gavin is not only new to Lorain but new to this planet- In the interest of seeing his initial reactions to Lorain and the planet we have asked for his considered opinion of various topics.

You have experienced a somewhat sheltered life so far – what are your thoughts about the people you have met?

My eyes have been opened

What kind of job are we doing with our planet ?

“Let me put it this way if I could stand I would give you such a punch in the nose”

gavnhap

Do you think the sewer rates should be raised any more?

“I do not use the facilities of which you speak however I look with disdain upon any more money going down the toilet!”

gavdis

Are you aware that in 18 years you will be able to vote? And you can be President if you so choose?

“You don’t say – sounds interesting -how are the perks? I am ready for my campaign speech”

gavok

Do you realize that there are some situations in this world that may prove to be unpleasant?

“I understand that a lot of the human race on this planet shut their eyes to such things and I have been practising- how am I doing I haven’t quite got that finger thing down yet have I ? “

gaveyes shut

Have you met any “girls” in your time with us so far?

“Girls you mean there are “opposites” oooooohhhhhhh baby!”

How cute, and what a handsome little dude. Love the captions under each photo. You never know, he may be the mayor some day.Leave it up to Aunt Paula to capture all this.

What a great subject to work with.
I can hardly wait for him to talk. He already seems to have so much to say with his facial expressions and “body language” (sounds)….

Absolutely precious and already quite a character!
I can see why everyone is so in love with him!

Not being the proud ‘nagnog” in any way shape or form.I don’t remember my kids being as expressive at this tender age…all those emotions crossed his little face within a couple of minutes ( Paula is my witness) however the funniest one we didn’t manage was the “sigh of relief” after he passes “gas” it is a riot…. anyway have to have something to smile about even if it is literally “bathroom” humour 🙂

  • 7. Buster's Momma  |  May 17, 2009 at 12:11 pm

Just wait until that “sigh of relief” turns into a proud verbal announcement!

  • 8. Loraine Ritchey  |  May 17, 2009 at 12:23 pm

He makes enough noise about it out of the “other end” as it is .. and people do look at you funny thinking that can’t be that little mite must be the “nagnog” 🙂
