I’m super-excited to announce that I’ll be teaming up with The Chronicle-Telegram, and to bring you round-the-clock coverage of the festival from Black River Landing in downtown Lorain.

Are you going?

Find out what you need to know here! Get the stories behind the stories, find out about the people who make the festival come together. And maybe even spot yourself in our coverage! Follow me on Twitter to get updates:

Help us cover the festival! What do you want to see? Know something we should write about? Send your story ideas or tip us off to photo-ops by e-mailing me at

Share your festival photos and videos at, and I’ll include them in my blog posts, and the best may be printed in The Chronicle-Telegram.

Not going? (And you’d better have a good excuse!)

See what you’re missing! Experience the festival through my camera lens (and my tastebuds). See which of your old friends made it back.

The blog will live on The Chronicle, in print and online. Rona has started the blog already with princess profiles and previews of the festival. Rona is always looking for suggestions of what to write, and people are welcome to send her their thoughts, photos, videos, etc. to be included.

Now is your chance to enjoy another aspect of Lorain International Festival.

Lorain International Festival and Bazaar
The Lorain International Festival and Bazaar is the premier event of the summer for Lorain, Ohio. The fun all takes place along the scenic Black River. Hola, Dennis!

You bet I like rice and beans! Unfortunately I work Thursday nights (real work, as in, in the office, not fun work, as in covering the festival).

Plus please send me anything I should know about the meetings, and I’ll post it!
