Just a reminder- Flags and Auditions

May 22, 2010 at 7:47 pm 2 comments

Since Memorial Day 2003, the congregation of Christian Temple Disciples of Christ has, on its side lawn, placed one American Flag for each service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This display is non political and non denominational. It is a call to prayer and a call to remembrance during the Memorial Day obser-vance

This year we plan to place over five thousand flags and need help in doing this.
If you or your organization would be interested in helping us with this project of remembrance by taking a few hours to place the flags we would greatly appreciate that.

Please contact the Rev. Dr. Brad Donahue, senior pastor of Lorain Christian Temple Disciples of Christ at 440-244-5883 to schedule a time for your group or yourself to participate.

We will begin placing flags at 9:00 a.m. on May 26, 2010 until May 28th.
Take down of the display will be on Tuesday June 1st .
Thank you for your support.
