P.O. 302891 $8,750 (Ron Clark) final payment- therefore the cost of having Mr. Clark speak plus his travel expenses was $18,500 dollars
Account for this PO is from Title 11A set aside for Professional Development. Ron Clark was the premier speaker and conducted Professional Development for four hours. This was Professional Staff Development fopr all Lorain City Schools staff; appromimately 875 attended. The function was held at Lorain High School’s auditorium.
The purpose was to provide all staff with Professional Development as required by the Ohio Department of Education. Ron Clark is a teacher who is nationally known as exceptional in improving student achievement , motivating teachers and impacting school climate. Grant monies are restricted to provide Professional Staff Development.
