Boil Alert – power outages- for the birds then again maybe not 😉

Birds on a power line are worth two utilities – Ohio Edison and Lorain Water Plant ……….ahhhhhhh mother nature or are we being punished ? 🙂

When asked why he thought it took so long for him to be knighted by Queen Elizabeth at that late stage in his life, Hitchcock wisecracked that he “suppose[d] it was a matter of carelessness”

My husband and I were over on 1st street a couple of evenings ago checking on the Admiral King site and Settlers’ Watch and I pointed out these flocks of birds, we used to see them coming into Irving down the smoke stack and over at the old OE plant ( which is now gone) there are hundreds of them wheeling and rotating bit like that “blue planet episode with the schools of fish) looked exactly like that .then yesterday morning I don’t know what happened heard this terrible racous “caw caw” and the biggest black crow I ever saw lay dead at the bottom of the utiility pole- I was going to have my husband clear it away but then those buzzards that are circling the area for the past couple of years swooped down and made a meal of it YUK……
