Lorain owes me but Auditor Balked

And Referee Riley:

Riley indicated in a legal ruling dated Feb. 7 that Krasienko was entitled to the return of $3,073 after Krasienko communicated verbally to the law department that he decided to revoke the relinquishment of the portion of his 2011 salary that would represent the 3 percent increase for the mayor’s salary for the year 2011.

How about the arrogance of this statement:

“I always come out on top.” –Tony Krasienko

Really Tony, then how do explain last November?

“I always land on my feet,” Krasienko said.

It isn’t how you land but WHERE – landing in the “political crap” in this town can find you up to your neck in a cesspool 🙂
so sayeth the overweight menopausal blogger 😉

Lorraine, toooooooooooo cute. Happy smiles for that one.

It is unfortunate that a “former” mayor who while in office thought being “generous” and part of the solution, once ejected from office decides to “rescind” is generous nature. Makes it all the more OBVIOUS that it was only done for political expediency for re-election campaign fodder. The saddest part for him at least, he failed to get the give back clause included like his predecessor did. Of course, that clause doesn’t make it more correct to take this action. Rest assured that his political career (such as it was) is over. I will be the first in line to remind people of how he treats “his city”. Politics, governing, and leadership are not games of “do it my way or I’ll take my toys and go home”,, or in this case I’ll take my donation back because you didn’t do right by me even though I totally screwed you while in office and will continue to do so when out of office.

Thanks Tony and make it a grate day! I hope some day we can return the favor!

Methinks it’s not the smell of coffee that has permeated City Hall all these years. And still….

This is all infueding because someone hasn’t scratched the back of the person who helped write the pay ordinance with the glaring loophole for recinding it in it.

The part where some say that they are not getting a raise because they are donating it back is not true. Those raises are silently racking up future raises in retirement accounts and according to PERS and therefore a raise.

After my only dealing with the former Mayor, I have turned his name into a verb in my house. When I say I am going “Krasienko-ing” everyone knows I’m going to scoop out the litter box. I thought it was appropriate.
