ED NOTE- Paula ponders the question of finances in these tough financial times!….

Giardini said he’s still negotiating with the Lorain County Community Action Agency to move the agency’s offices into Kalo’s building.
“It’s still pending,” he said. “It’s not a dead deal.”

Paula Ponders:
Why would we take over the loan if the group is going to move and incur a new loan/rent?

And are we’re using money from one budget to pay bills for unexpected expenses??……

replacing our boiler and the funds will be taken from the Black River Facility Improvement fund.

    Now where was I , Paula I seem to remember that this building was donated to Lorain County Community Action Agency by the law firm of Dennis Otoole back in 2000 and a quick reckie of the auditors site seems to confirm this .I wonder if they remortgaged to owe so much now????????
